Number of arbitrators
According to the provisions of Article 10.1 of the Rules: The Court shall determine the amount of the proceedings, taking into account the claims claimed in each arbitration, the economic interest of the arbitration and its complexity. The Court shall fix the amount of the advance on costs of the arbitration, including any applicable taxes.
In exercising this function of fixing the amount of the proceedings, the Court shall follow the guidelines explained in the following Note.

This calculator applies to domestic arbitrations and international arbitrations arising from arbitration agreements signed before 1 January 2020. For international arbitrations deriving from arbitration agreements signed on or after 1 January 2020, which are deemed to have been submitted to the International Centre of Madrid (CIAM), the rules on the quantification of arbitrations of that institution shall apply.
