Courtroom Rental
The Court of Arbitration of Madrid has two modern courtrooms, the Concepción Arenal Courtroom and the Pedro Sáinz de Andino Courtroom, and three gala courtrooms.
The Court of Arbitration of Madrid is also available to its users and arbitrators – and also to users and arbitrators of ad-hoc arbitrations or arbitrations administered by other institutions- to facilitate the holding of virtual hearings, i.e., hearings via videoconference. In the event that this modality is chosen, arbitrators and users are invited to consider the contents of this Note.
Hearing rooms are available to arbitration users
These hearing rooms are available to users of arbitrations administered by the Court of Arbitration of Madrid, as well as to users and arbitrators of ad-hoc arbitrations or arbitrations administered by other institutions.
The Court’s administration rights
In arbitrations administered by the Court of Arbitration of Madrid, the Court’s administration fee is the first day’s use of the Concepción Arenal or Pedro Sáenz de Andino rooms, together with their adjoining rooms for the arbitral tribunal and the parties. In the event that additional days of use of the Concepción Arenal or Pedro Sáenz de Andino rooms are required, the general room rental rates will apply with a 50% discount.

Virtual Hearing Services
The Court is also at the disposal of its users and arbitrators to facilitate the holding of virtual hearings, i.e. hearings via videoconference.
The Rooms include an audio-video recording system, projector, screen, microphones and translation booth.
In arbitrations administered by the Court of Arbitration of Madrid, the Court’s administration fees include the service of organization and support of the Secretariat in virtual hearings for one day. In the event that this service is required on additional days, the general rates for the organization of virtual hearings will be applied with a 50% discount.
